  • MCSC Schools require students to be up-to-date on immunizations as mandated by the Indiana Department of Education. Please make arrangements for immunizations with your family physician or the county health department. Students who have not been immunized will be excluded from school in the event of an epidemic. Indiana law allows exemptions for medical or religious reasons but not for the philosophical objections. More information about immunization requirements can be found above.

  • Welcome to Mississinewa Schools

    Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is OPEN for all grade levels. Information for Preschool and Kindergarten registration is listed below. The first day for the 2024-2025 school year is Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

    Current Students
    Current or Returning students of Mississinewa Schools should complete the Returning Student Registration Forms within PowerSchool.  Parents of these students should log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, select Forms, Enrollment and complete all forms in the Returning Student Registration section.  From here, you will have the ability to see the information we currently have on file and have the ability to update any necessary changes.  This can be done by visiting the PowerSchool website at https://mcsc.powerschool.com or by downloading the PowerSchool Mobile App.

    Online Registration Assistance

    Technical assistance is available for New Student Registration during business hours.  You may also see our PowerSchool Guidance page.

    Computers will be available at each school for those who need assistance or do not have internet access available. You may also contact the school directly with the information provided at the bottom of this page.

    New Students to Mississinewa Community Schools must complete the Pre-Registration forms found on the left-hand margin of this website. Once these forms are completed, you will receive a phone call to schedule a time to meet to complete registration. Appointments will be scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. New students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring the student's birth certificate and immunization records.

    When registering as a student at one of our schools, please remember to have the following items with you to finalize the registration process:

    • Student's Original Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Records
    • Records from Previous School (if transferring)
    • Proof of Residency

    Thank you for choosing Ole Miss PreSchool! We are so grateful you have entrusted us with providing the initial educational experiences for your child! We are a PTQ Level 4, NAEYC accredited program, dedicated to providing the most fundamental experiences for kiddos ages 3-5! If you are new to Ole Miss PreSchool, you may Pre-Register your child at NEW Student Registration. If your child currently attends Ole Miss PreSchool and will remain in the Ole Miss PreSchool program during the 2024-2025 school year, you may register online by logging into your Parent PowerSchool Portal.

    Kindergarten at Westview Elementary School is an exciting place for your child. It is filled with hands-on learning, interactive activities, building of social skills, and so much more.
