    Club Information

    The after-school coding club is designed for students who have an interest in technology and specifically, learning how to code. The goals of the club are to help increase students’ understanding of computer coding and confidence when using new technology. Students will use various coding programs during their six-week session.


    Eligibility

    All students in grades 2-5 are eligible to apply for coding club. The second-grade session will be shorter and more focused on introduction to technology. The club will meet for one hour after school once a week. Students must submit an application to be considered for admittance to the Coding Club. Mr. Cheney will announce when applications are ready.


    Expectations 

    Students participating in the coding club must have transportation home following after-school meetings. They must maintain classroom grades and behavior in order to continue in the club.
