Governing Board

The governing body is officially known as the “School Board of the Mississinewa Community School Corporation.” The school board exists for the purpose of governing a system for providing a free, public education in grades K–12 for the children in the Mississinewa Community School Corporation. Our board consists of seven members elected to serve four-year terms. We hold our board meetings the first and third Mondays of each month in the Frederick W. Hengstler Administration Building located at 424 East South “A,” Gas City, Indiana.

We welcome the public to attend our regular board meetings. We will post our upcoming meeting notices on this page. If you are unable to attend our meetings, you will also find our meeting minutes on this page.
