MCSC 2016 Academic Excellence

AP Media Release

Mississinewa Community Schools would like to recognize academic success during the 2015-2016 school year. The Class of 2016 boasted two valedictorians and three salutatorians. Students who pass the exams score a three or higher (on a scale of five) in the tested area.

The College Board recognized seventeen of the Mississinewa graduates with Advanced Placement Scholar Awards for demonstrating excellence on multiple exams. Students earning “Distinction” receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all exams taken and they score 3 or higher on five or more of those exams. “Honors” recipients score an average of at least 3.25 on all exams taken and score 3 or higher on four of those exams.
